Less stuff. More life.
Your home should be your sanctuary — the place you can't wait to get back to at the end of a long day. But when your space is cluttered and disorganized, it's hard to relax. Instead of peace, you feel overwhelmed. Instead of unwinding, you're surrounded by stuff that drains your energy.
I'm Jessica Walsh, founder of Compassionate Clearing Co. I've spent over 15 years helping people let go of what no longer serves them and take back their space. Because there's a huge difference between cleaning and cleaning out — and once you experience what it feels like to walk into a room with nothing to shuffle, nothing to push aside, just peaceful, useful space — you'll never go back.
How it works
Step 1: We Talk
Book a free 30-minute consultation. You tell me what's going on. I listen — really listen — and we figure out a plan together.
Step 2: We Work
I come to your home and we tackle decluttering together. I'll ask the right questions, help you make decisions, and handle all the sorting, bagging, and hauling — with patience, compassion and zero judgment.
Step 3: You Breathe When we're done, your space works for you — not against you. And I'll leave you with systems designed to keep it that way.
Room-by-Room
Home Organizing
We'll work through your space together — one room, one closet, one drawer at a time — making honest decisions about what stays and what goes. I'm not here to turn your home into something from a magazine. I'm here to make it work for your actual life.
Kitchens, closets, bedrooms, bathrooms, home offices, garages, basements, playrooms, and every space in between. If there's stuff in it, I can help you sort it out.
Senior Downsizing & Move Preparation
Helping a parent, grandparent, or loved one sort through a lifetime of belongings is one of the most emotionally complex things a family can go through.
I will never rush this process. We'll go at your loved one's pace, honoring what matters and gently letting go of what doesn't need to make the move. I'll handle the logistics — sorting, packing, coordinating donations — so your family can focus on each other.
Moving Services
Whether you're packing up or settling in, I'll make sure you only move what actually deserves to come with you — and that your new home feels like home from day one.
Swedish Death Cleaning
Don't let the name scare you. Swedish Death Cleaning is simply the practice of thoughtfully going through your belongings now — so that your loved ones don't have to do it later. It's one of the most generous, loving things you can do for the people you care about. I'll guide you through it at whatever pace feels right — with warmth, patience, and zero judgment.
When someone passes away, clearing out their home is one of the hardest things a family has to face. I'll work alongside you to sort through your loved one's belongings thoughtfully and respectfully — at a pace that honors the person who lived there and the family they left behind.
This is heavy work, emotionally and physically. You don't have to do it alone.
Estate Clearing
Paper, Photo & Digital Organizing
The clutter you can't see can weigh on you just as much as the clutter you can. Piles of paperwork on the counter, boxes of old photos in the closet, 14,000 unread emails — it all adds up. I'll help you create systems that make sense, preserve the memories that matter, and take control of the digital noise. Because digital clutter is just as suffocating as physical clutter.
Storage Unit Clear-Outs
One in three Americans rents a storage unit — paying an average of $120 a month to store things they forgot they own. That's nearly $1,500 a year for a second home for your stuff. I'll help you clear it out, keep what actually matters, and cancel that monthly payment for good.
Holiday & Seasonal Services
The holidays should be about joy, not about digging through tangled lights in a cluttered garage. I'll handle the setup, takedown, and/or organization so you can focus on the season itself.
